Leonardo will provide Starwood with a "single point-of-entry" solution enabling the hotel company to synchronize the distribution of its rich media content to all global-distributions systems and e-distribution channels.

Leonardo Media has been selected by Starwood Hotels & Resorts to provide rich, online media-content distribution (including static and moving property images, logos, maps, etc.) for its Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Le Meridien, W Hotels and Westin brands.

Leonardo will provide Starwood with a “single point-of-entry” solution enabling the hotel company to synchronize the distribution of its rich media content to all global-distributions systems and e-distribution channels and resellers such as Pegasus, Opodo, Yahoo!, Orbitz and Worldres.

“Starwood Hotels & Resorts is a valued client that we have worked with for a number of years, and we are extremely delighted to be managing their rich-content management and distribution requirements for the entire group,” said David Elton, Leonardo CEO. “Hotel companies and channels utilize our products so they can optimize the operational efficiencies and cost savings that Leonardo solutions provide. The key industry players see Leonardo as the de-facto industry standard for the management and distribution of rich content.”

“Image quality and consistency in the marketplace is very important to us. We’ve contracted Leonardo’s DistributionBank as the solution to the time consuming and difficult job of providing our properties significant travel site coverage with beautiful and up-to-date photography.” said Hank Sagman, Director of Multimedia Production Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
