SideStep adds Facebook COO to its Board of Directors

SideStep announced that Owen Van Natta, chief operating officer of Facebook, has been elected to serve on SideStep, Inc.'s board of directors. Prior to Facebook, Owen was vice president of worldwide business and corporate development at Amazon.com.

SideStep, Inc. announced that Owen Van Natta, chief operating officer of Facebook, has been elected to serve on SideStep, Inc.’s board of directors.

As chief operating officer at Facebook, Van Natta is responsible for the business, operational and financial strategy for Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Owen was vice president of worldwide business and corporate development at Amazon.com, where he drove strategic initiatives that resulted in additional revenue streams and business opportunities for the company. Most recently, Owen was vice president and a member of the founding team at A9.com, where he was responsible not only for the workings of the Internet site itself but Amazon.com product search and sponsored link advertising.
