Golden Tulip Hospitality launches a re-designed consumer website and the brand new corporate website.

All the ‘top-level’ pages of both sites – such as the homepage, news and offers sections, press information and booking - have been redesigned and reorganised during the first phase of an ongoing project aimed at improving and updating Golden Tulip’s web presence. With the new platform in place, various additional new functionalities will be rolled out in the following months.

New features already active include:

- richer hotel information,
- easier navigation
- access to promotions and special offers,
- A dynamic reservation modification service.

The Corporate website offers an interactive experience that helps investors and developers learn more about Golden Tulip Hospitality Group and its brands. The Golden Tulip Hospitality Group includes Royal Tulip, Golden Tulip, Tulip Inn and BRANCHE Restaurant, Bar & Lounge. Further information includes:

- press information
- current development projects
- vacancies,
- Ambassador Club access
- Improved hotel chain booking channel for travel agents.

The websites were set live during Golden Tulip’s 45th Annual Conference by Hans Kennedie, President & CEO of Golden Tulip Hospitality Group.

Hans Kennedie, President & CEO of Golden Tulip Hospitality comments: “Golden Tulip recognizes the importance of having an accessible and inviting web environment. We are positive that the new improved websites will serve not only our guests but respond to the needs of our stakeholders on all levels and functions. The new corporate website will aid existing and prospective owners in exploring hotel opportunities with Golden Tulip”

Riko van Santen, Vice President of Electronic Distribution & ICT of Golden Tulip Hospitality adds: “Although we gave our brand website a significant overhaul just over a year ago, we felt that as the pace in which technology evolves gets faster, there are many new gains we can achieve both technically and commercially. Considering how Web 2.0 is maturing, and how social networking has taken a firm place within the modern generation, our new web platform will be ready to further integrate with such services and operating models of the future.”

In the first quarter of 2008, also the individual hotel websites will undergo the transformation from the old format to the new exciting one.
