LastMinuteTravel.com launches discount travel club

LastMinuteTravel.com launched a new discount travel club that offers exclusive access to behind-the-scenes rates on nearly 13,000 A-list hotels worldwide. Rates are exclusive to members through the Club’s secure password-protected site.

The company says, the Last Minute Travel Club will save members an average of 23 to 66 percent on every booking to the world’s most popular travel destinations.

“What our members will find is a simple, no-frills, deals-oriented site whose only purpose is to save them more money,” states Bryon Sheffield, Executive Vice President of Global Business-to-Consumer Development for Travel Holdings, Inc., the parent company for LastMinuteTravel.com. “There are no bells, and no whistles, and we don’t think there should be. Our goal is to focus on what’s most important to our customers - the rates,” explains Sheffield.

Rates are exclusive to members through the Club’s secure password-protected site.

“The launch of our Club offers a win/win situation for both us and our loyal users. We’ve always been an under-the-radar company, and while we are sacrificing our margins to keep VIP customers booking with us, we want to reward our loyal users,” says Sheffield.

Travelers can sign up for a one-year membership with the Last Minute Travel Club for just $49.99. “This program is a must for frequent travelers and the cost of membership will be made by the savings from their first booking. The proof is in the numbers!” Sheffield adds, “The Last Minute Travel Club gives consumers an added incentive to travel with us, and is a great way to thank our customers who already do.”
