Continental Airlines has gone to the web in offering travelers a new online program that provides members access to special deals and travel credits called The Travel Club @ continental.com.

Upon payment of the annual membership fee of $10 USD, members of the Travel Club @ continental.com will earn a $5 USD travel credit for every flown ticket purchased at continental.com and will also have access to special offers. Funds earned through The Travel Club will be deposited into the member's Gift Account within 48 hours and can be used to purchase travel on Continental, Continental Express or Continental Micronesia. Free membership in the OnePass frequent flyer program is required to join the Club.

Now through Jan. 31, 2006, new Travel Club members will receive a $25 bonus credit in their Gift Account. This $25 credit can be used by the Club member to offset the cost of future travel purchased at continental.com.

"We continue to invest in ways to make our online experience more rewarding," said Mark Bergsrud, vice president of Marketing Programs and Distribution. "Club members will receive credits towards travel purchases at continental.com and have access to special offers all while continuing to enjoy the many benefits of OnePass."
