Ctrip.com reports revenue jump

China's Ctrip.com announced that its revenues in the fourth quarter of last year jumped 43% year on year to RMB 603 million, and its full-year revenues rose 34% from 2008 to RMB 2.1 billion.

Net income attributable to Ctrip's shareholders was RMB 190 million in the fourth quarter of 2009, up 57% year on year, and the full-year net income increased 48% from the year earlier to RMB 659 million.

Hotel reservation revenues were RMB 279 million for the fourth quarter and RMB 956 million for full-year 2009, up 33% and 25% year on year, respectively.

In the fourth quarter, its air ticket booking revenues increased 45% year on year to RMB 240 million. For the full year ended Dec. 31, the revenues from the same service rose 35% from a year earlier to RMB 888 million.

Packaged-tour revenues jumped 62% year on year to RMB 49 million in the fourth quarter and RMB 177 million for the full year of 2009.

Ctrip expects its net revenue will continue to grow at a year-on-year rate of around 30% in 2010, said the company in a statement.
