Hong Kong Disneyland Park isn’t the only star on the scene for vacation-minded families in Asia. The magical theme park - Disney’s first-ever in China - comes with its own supporting cast of two magnificently-themed hotels.

Seaside and stylish on Lantau Island - about 30 minutes from Hong Kong Central - both hotels are adjacent to the park and offer guests not only great accommodations but immersion in Disney theming and storytelling extended right from the park.

In fact, the same creative minds of Walt Disney Imagineering who build the Disney theme parks also imagine and dream Disney’s intricately themed resort hotels.

In both Hong Kong Disneyland hotels, Disney entertainment abounds. Disney characters mingle with gleeful hotel guests, posing for photographs and signing autographs. In the Enchanted Garden Restaurant (Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel), Disney’s most beloved characters join guests for breakfast and dinner on a daily basis. And guests to both hotels are able to take advantage of Disney’s brand of quality service 24 hours a day.

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

With its lacelike latticework, curved moldings and balustrades, the grandly Victorian-themed Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel harkens to another era. This cream-colored, red-shingled showplace is transporting, yet with all the modern amenities guests come to expect from a Disney hotel experience, including first-class dining, one-of-a-kind recreation and lushly landscaped grounds.

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel typifies how Disney storytelling goes beyond the realm of its parks.

“Like all Disney hotels around the world, the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel has a distinctive theme that carries through the architecture, landscape, furnishings and even the costumes worn by the hotel’s cast members,” says Wing Chao, Vice Chairman, Asia Pacific Development for Walt Disney Parks and
Resorts and Executive Vice President, Master Planning, Architecture and Design for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Guests staying at the hotel will be
transported back in time to the Victorian era with an architectural style and atmosphere like no other.”

Evocative of a bygone time, each of its 400 guestrooms features soft spring colors, light woods and printed wall coverings. Rooms radiate from a grand lobby which rises to a spectacular ceiling adorned with two massive stained-glass domes and ornate chandeliers. Groups and special events are
accommodated thanks to an adjacent conference center. Beautifying and wellness services are available to all guests at the ultra-luxe Victorian Spa.

Disney’s Hollywood Hotel

Theming of a different kind takes guests at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel to the 1930s and the era of movie moguls, glittery premieres and three-picture deals.

Recalling the Golden Age of Hollywood, the sweeping hotel is done in Art Deco style, from the light fixtures and carpets in the public areas to the wall coverings and bedspreads in each of the 600 guestrooms.

The moderately-priced hotel also includes shopping, dining, a lounge, a piano-shaped swimming pool and a garden that unfolds like a map of Los Angeles with popular and well-known Hollywood streets, landmarks and icons.

Fun for the whole family, the hotel will make every guest feel like a star as they immerse themselves in the history and glamour of motion pictures. For media and grand-opening invited guests Saturday night, it was the perfect setting for a planned, star-studded Hollywood-themed party complete with all the show business trappings.
