Expedia's WWTE private label service has joined with the Jamaica Tourist Board to let travelers book vacation packages and hotels on visitjamaica.com.

Expedia, Inc. today announced that its WWTE private label service has joined with the Jamaica Tourist Board to let travelers book vacation packages, hotels, air, car and destination services at visitjamaica.com.

“February is an important month for our local tourism industry, as many travelers book Jamaican vacations to escape the cold winter weather,” said Paul Pennicook, Director of Tourism for Jamaica. “The WWTE relationship allows potential visitors to search and select a trip that’s right for them from visitjamaica.com’s enhanced menu of travel services.”

The WWTE private label service offers a back-end solution for suppliers and travel portals, such as visitjamaica.com, to utilize Expedia’s in-depth inventory of travel products while maintaining a consistent brand image to Web site visitors. Travelers who book through visitjamaica.com can search and assemble a complete trip from Expedia’s wide-selection of airlines, hotels and resorts, ground transportation and destination services, including scuba diving lessons or an island adventure tour.

“The addition of WWTE’s broad selection of travel services and attractions to the Jamaica Tourist Board site will be a great convenience to their customers looking to get in-depth information about the island as well as book their travel in one convenient location,” said Barney Harford, vice president of air, car and private label at Expedia, Inc. “We look forward to stimulating Jamaica’s tourism industry through the enhanced offering now available on visitjamaica.com.”
