Hyatt to roll out new NCR express hotel kiosk

NCR unveiled a newly designed kiosk for hotel check-ins that allow users to check into hotels alone. The new system will be rolled out in Hyatt Hotels and Resorts as part of the chain's overall lobby redesign moving forward.
NCR Corp. announced new technology Monday that company officials hope will push it forward in the travel industry.
The Dayton-based company unveiled a newly designed kiosk for hotel check-ins that allow users to check into hotels alone. The kiosks will be integrated into the registration counters at hotels and utilize touch-screen capability to help guests find their way and serve themselves in some common hotel services.
“For many travelers, the best service is self-service,” said Tania Ladic, NCR vice president of travel industry marketing.
