By integrating Mobissimo's travel search technology into its online sales strategy, American will create a route for customers to purchase directly from AA.com.
Mobissimo entered a partnership with American Airlines. Fares for American flights will be available on the Mobissimo Web site in the second quarter of this year. With more than 3,800 flights a day, American’s network, including American Eagle and the AmericanConnection regional carriers, serves more than 250 cities in over 40 countries.
By partnering with Mobissimo and integrating Mobissimo’s innovative and industry leading travel search technology into its online sales strategy, American will create a route for customers to purchase directly from American’s official online channel - AA.com.
“Working directly with American Airlines to obtain their fare information solidifies our position as the most comprehensive meta-search engine in the industry,” said Béatrice Tarka, Co-Founder and CEO of Mobissimo. “We’re happy to be partnering with American and look forward to working with them to drive direct traffic to the American Airlines Web site, and to provide our customers with more options for travel.”
