Eager to generate more sales from families, hotels are increasingly stepping up efforts to please guests’ children.
Even hotels that cater to business travelers, such as Embassy Suites and Omni, have introduced child-friendly amenities to boost leisure bookings and encourage customers to bring family members.
Goodie bags, toys and goldfish brought to the room, kid suites and baby-sitting services are among the latest developments. Plans for an entirely new chain aimed at children also are in the works.
