TripIt and LinkedIn launch new social travel service
October 30, 2008 | Online Travel
The My Travel application on LinkedIn is directly connected to your TripIt account. The application lets you see where and when your LinkedIn network is traveling.
The application alsogenerates closeness alerts for your LinkedIn colleagues, so you can connect with them while youre on the road, while theyre on the road, or when youre attending the same industry event.
My Travel also displays your current location, upcoming trips and travel stats on your LinkedIn profile. You can create trips either manually via LinkedIn or by simply emailing your purchase confirmations directly to plans [at] tripit.com as always.
If you use either TripIt or LinkedIn, you have to install My Travel and check it out.
