Under the agreement, VRX will enable its hotel partners to distribute their content, including 360-degree virtual tours, still images, and interactive maps, through Pegasus' global distribution network.

VRX Studios Inc. has signed a multi-year agreement with Pegasus Solutions, Inc., enabling the distribution of its HD rich media hotel content through Pegasus’ Online Distribution Database.

This agreement increases the global distribution coverage of Athena, VRX’s new distribution programme launched few days back.

Under the agreement, VRX will enable its hotel partners to distribute their content, including 360-degree virtual tours, still images, and interactive maps, through Pegasus’ global distribution network. VRX’s extensive coverage of hotels compliments the depth of property data that Pegasus provides for more than 86,000 hotels worldwide.

“This direct access to Pegasus’ network will not only provide agents and consumers with the information that they need, it will also deliver a content solution to hotels that includes production and distribution services that they can count on,” said David MacLaren, President and CEO, VRX.

VRX Studios Inc. has introduced Athena, that combines value-based pricing with unprecedented flexibility and coverage of hotels, destinations and cruise ships. According to VRX Worldwide Inc.’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Athena enables hotels, online travel agencies, tour operators and global distribution systems to cost-effectively differentiate themselves while meeting the various content needs of their customers.
