Ctrip.com, the first Internet travel company in China that has constructed a building for itself, has reportedly spent more than US$20 million on the construction, excluding other expenditure items.

In the first quarter of 2007, Ctrip.com achieved RMB249 million net revenue, which was an increase of 49% compared with that of the same period of last year. Apart from its pioneering hotel booking and air ticket booking, Ctrip.com also expanded its holiday service. In the first quarter of this year, Ctrip's income from holiday service increased by over 73%. Ctrip.com currently takes up more than half of the online travel service shares in China.
