UK holidaymakers are turning to the web to find the best holiday deals available, according to The price comparison website experienced a 102 per cent increase in traffic during July 2007, compared with 2006 figures, total visitors to the site during July, were just below 400,000.

The biggest growth area was for 'holidays' where traffic was up by 375 per cent, suggesting that consumers are really coming to terms with the huge array of package and 'do-it-yourself' package holidays available on the web. The next biggest increase was for flight only traffic, which was up by 50 per cent year on year.
