The international hotel group design hotels announces the launch of an Advance Purchase program with benefits to both experience-seeking travellers as well as its member hotels.

As part of design hotels continuing efforts to bring forth innovative products and present a clear rate structure to consumers, the Advance Purchase program offers travellers significantly reduced rates at participating hotels. The rate is particularly relevant - and an incentive - for price conscious leisure travellers who have the flexibility to book early.

The Advance Purchase program is part of a new design hotels(tm) pricing model that was launched in July 2006 with the Best Available Rate (BAR) structure. The BAR structure is in effect for all 152 member hotels offering each the flexibility to adjust rates according to fluctuating demand. The Advance Purchase program is a restricted rate set below, yet in correlation to, the BAR which may vary according to the individual booking periods. This newly implemented pricing structure allows for better rate parity which benefits both member properties and the consumer.

The terms and conditions of the Advance Purchase program include that it is bookable 21 days or more in advance; it is a fenced program; non refundable, non changeable, not transferable and the reservations are to be prepaid in full.

The Advance Purchase rates are available via all design hotels booking channels and include GDS, and voice booking through the customer service centre, which is available toll-free from most countries worldwide.
