Mobile travel sales are growing quickly in absolute terms in China. This year, according to Analysys International Enfodesk, sales will reach RMB 224.5 billion ($36.5 billion). That represents an estimated 80.0% increase over 2014 spending levels. And that growth rate is slow compared to the past few years. Mobile travel sales more than tripled in 2012 and more than quintupled in both 2013 and 2014. That rapid growth helped propel mobile from a tiny 2.8% share of total digital travel sales in China in 2012 to 11.1% in 2013 and then 44.6% in 2014. This year, almost two-thirds of all digital travel sales will occur via mobile devices - smashing the 50/50 marker. Get the full story at eMarketer
