Google has added a date selector box to Knowledge Graph Carousel for hotels. While the company has featured date selection for hotel, flight and other bookings through Google’s search for some time, the date selector was in the past not a featured option within Google's knowledge graph carousel at the top of Google's search results. That has changed now. For example, a search on [hotel in new york] returns the local hotel listings at the top carousel. By entering arrival and departure dates, the listing in the carousel gets updated with the hotels that have availabiity for the requested time period. This feature makes Google's carousel more powerful for travelers as they can quickly check for availability in their prefered hotel class, but also for hotels that get featured within Google carousel for hotels, as they should see conversions going up.
