Gtrot has partnered with Local Offer Network to send its users daily deals for more than 100 destinations in the United States, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom, starting five days before their trips. The offers are aggregated from more than 200 daily deal sites, including Groupon and Living Social. “Each of those five days you’re going to get different deals that are relevant to travel — deals based around activities, entertainment, restaurants,” said Brittany Laughlin, co-founder of Gtrot, whose name is short for globetrotter. “You’re not going to see something for laser hair removal.” The service makes it easier on bargain-hunting travelers, saving them the hassle of subscribing to and unsubscribing from all the various daily deal sites to see offers in their destination cities.
