One of the first was the Virgin America airline, selected in April 2010 as one of a number of major consumer brands to trial the long awaited platform to give Twitter a revenue stream outside of selling data to search engines. More recently, Asia-Pacific online travel agency Zuji got in on the act through its Australian office, becoming the first company in the country to give the channel a test.
