Around 100 corporate clients, who on Wednesday (6th September) attended HRG UK’s annual conference in London, were present for the UK launch of HRG’s new web-based Portal. Designed to simplify transactions and provide convenience for the traveller, travel booker and travel manager, the HRG Portal includes an integrated travel and expense management tool. It aims to offer a complete, online, seamless experience for travellers and travel managers/bookers.

The HRG PortalTM solution, which is designed to act as a personalised electronic travel assistant, delivers a full complement of services, from travel booking and trip information to customised reports and expense management, through a cost effective and fully integrated interface. Specifically tailored to meet corporate needs, the HRG Portal offers:

- A ‘one stop shop’ web-based corporate travel solution, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Online travel booking and trip/destination information
- Integration and consolidation of data for complete reporting and optimum programme management control
- Immediate access to online expense management (HRG Expense Management) to efficiently track travel and purchases from a variety of sources
- Global capabilities with multilingual, multi-currency options
- Ability to integrate both in-house and third party tools.

The new HRG Portal offers organisations improved cost and management control when logging, calculating and processing travel transactions. In addition to its online booking and reporting capabilities, it has the ability to integrate HRG Expense Management into companies’ existing financial systems to efficiently track travel and purchases from a variety of sources including corporate credit cards, travel and entertainment cards, personal cash claims, mobile and office phones, fuel and car charges and travel data.

As an Application Service Provider (ASP) model, the solution is installed, run and powered in a secure infrastructure. This ensures that customers do not need to install new software on desktops or servers and can access the solution anywhere in the world via a secure internet browser.
