Hotel Indigo is looking to strike a cord with guests and potential guests by offering complimentary music podcasts that can be downloaded from its Web site and onto Apple iPods or similar devices capable of playing MP3 digital music files.

The podcasts will change four times a year -- with the seasons -- just as the decor at Hotel Indigo properties change at the start of spring, summer, fall and winter.

Each podcast features what Hotel Indigo is calling an “eclectic mix” of full-length songs as well as a slideshow of enhanced images promoting Hotel Indigo, an InterContinental Hotels Group brand.

“The seasonal podcasts present an incredible opportunity for us to connect with current and future guests at their leisure and in a way that suits their lifestyle,” said Jim Anhut, IHG senior vice president of brand development.
