OpenTable, Inc., the leading provider of free, online reservations for diners as well as guest and table management systems to restaurants, today announced that the company seated its 25-millionth diner through online restaurant reservations on August 14, 2006, just nine months after achieving its 15-million-diner milestone. This month, more than 1.3 million people are expected to dine out using reservations booked at OpenTable.com.

"The explosion in OpenTable.com use shows just how enthusiastically diners are embracing the convenience of booking online," said Thomas Layton, OpenTable CEO. "Recognizing this trend, restaurants focused on providing excellent service now offer their guests the ability to reserve online."
