Orbitz’s bookings of hotel room nights rose 20% from a year earlier. Orbitz’s revenue from hotel bookings jumped 40%, as the company earned higher revenue per booking. The company's second-quarter revenue increased to $225.8 million from $201 million, beating the $218.9 million average estimate in a Thomson Reuters survey.
