RateGain proudly announces its entry in the Chinese market by signing New Century Hotels & Resorts as its first customer. As per the agreement, in the first phase of the implementation, 14 of the group’s properties would start distributing their inventory online through ChannelGain, which is being integrated with their existing Kunlun CRS. Before this, 37 of New Century’s properties across China have already subscribed to PriceGain-Hotels and are using it to implement a competitive online pricing strategy. New Century Hotels and Resorts ranked the second largest hotel group, and the largest private high-grade hotel chain in China. According to “Hotels”, the group was selected to be the 83rd among top 100 hotel groups in the world in 2008. With “China Famous Trademark”, New Century owns four product series, namely, “New Century Grand Hotel”(upscale hotel), “New Century Resort”(upscale resort), “New Century Hotel” (midscale hotel), Manju hotels”(deluxe hotel) and “boutique hotel”(dayu kaiyua). Up to now, this company manages and signs more than 90 hotels, and has over 30,000 guest rooms in total, spreading in different municipalities and provincial cities across China. The group’s properties were using an existing Kunlun CRS and distributing their inventory through traditional and limited online channels. There was an immediate need to integrate their CRS with an online channel management solution that can be customized to its specifications. RateGain understood and evaluated their concerns regarding CRS integration and offered a customized yet cost effectiveness integration solution with Kunlun CRS.
