RoomCloud Hotel Distribution, powered and designed by industry veterans Tecnes Milano, - the company that designed established Channel Manager “ParityRate” - has launched an exciting new enhanced cloud-based platform that drives all 2-way distribution directly from the Hotel’s booking engine, with ground breaking features including, Google Docs integration, for true Cloud compatibility. Co-Founder and VP of Client Experience David Guilfoyle, said “RoomCloud enables hotels to control all distribution directly from the MyCloud brand booking engine, seamlessly, hotels can send 2-way synchronized updates, monitor competitors, automated yield rules and control their brand site packaging all through one login. We call it ‘brand biased distribution’, as the brand site is very often just a branch on a big distribution tree due to a lack of functionality and integrations in the marketplace. With RoomCloud the brand site is the tree and all OTA’s feed from it. Hoteliers can even connect their existing booking engine if they prefer as part of the RoomCloud as we are connected to multiple brand engine providers. The brainchild of 2 Physicists from Tuscany and an Irish Hotel Consultant based in Italy, RoomCloud is set to hit the ground running with over 300 website integrations, mainly European based sites ready for hotels to plug into immediately 140 of which are XML, and 20 PMS integrations including Protel and Infor with more to come. Google docs integration is just one of the exciting features that means the RoomCloud really does live up to its name. Guilfoyle went on to say “The Google docs and Google Drive integration is ideal for multiple hotels or those that prefer using spreadsheets rather than an interface. Hotels using RoomCloud always have the latest version of the spreadsheet a click away, so no more trying to find XL files and uploading the right one, even better they can also update direct from Google Docs without ever logging into RoomCloud, it’s just one of the ways we are looking outside the box” To emphasize its commitment to becoming a key player in the crowded distribution field RoomCloud will be attending the HEDNA Spring Conference in Edinburgh from June 18th and has just returned from ATM Dubai. Based in Milan Italy but with clients worldwide, RoomCloud provides local language support for its main customer base in Italy, Spain, the UK, France and Ireland all from its HQ in Milan. “We felt keeping the company support and account management 100% European based we could provide a more aligned service for our clients, hotels like to speak to someone who knows their account history and where possible in their own language and on the same continent, to underline that we have 3 separate twitter accounts in English French and Italian, with Spanish and German soon to follow”. RoomCloud client and Rome based veteran Revenue Consultant Stefano Tiribocchi says : “ has proven to be invaluable in my daily distribution strategy, I can strategically and automatically direct bookings to my official website and keep OTA commissions under control even down to rate type, this was an issue for us before RoomCloud arrived. The new Google Docs integration saves me even more time and the built in Rateshopping means I can keep an eye on my competitors.” Asked about the future direction of RoomCloud Guilfoyle says “Currently we’re focused on expanding our client base in Europe but as we connect to so many major international sites, we’ve just recently added 10 new sites for example, we will be looking beyond Europe in 2014 , as we say at the RoomCloud ‘The sky is the limit for hotels’ so we’d like to bring that message of flexibility and functionality to Hoteliers in the US and Asia Pacific region that message is also aimed at PMS providers and OTA’s. RoomCloud is offering a free 60 day trial until end of July. Related Link: RoomCloud
