Sabre is launching a loyalty programme for agents in a bid to increase sales through the GDS.

The company claimed MyRewards would move away from the "traditionally short-term" incentive schemes and benefit retailers on an on-going basis.

Its existing incentive schemes, Sabre HotelRewards and Sabre AutoRewards, will continue but brought under the MyRewards brand.

Under the scheme, agents can earn points for every hotel and car booking which can redeemed against a range of goods in 19,000 stores.
