Barcelona-based internet hotel search firm Fogg has been taken over by Skyscanner. The deal is seen as a “significant step” in boosting the flight search company’s offering. Edinburgh-based Skyscanner is also opening a new office in Barcelona, where all five of Fogg’s full-time employees will be based. Skyscanner plans to expand the office with new staff in engineering and other disciplines.
