Expedia's consolidated sites visits declined 17% in August (versus down 10% in July). Priceline.com visits decelerated to down 10% year-over-year (versus up 5% year-over-year in July) while Booking.com (owned by Priceline) visits increased 58% year-over-year (versus up 49% year-over-year last month). Kayak (owned by Priceline) traffic remained soft with a 21% decline in visits (versus down 5% year-over-year last month), though we suspect the decline was partially due to a shift toward more mobile traffic. VRBO + HomeAway unique visitors increased 6% year-over-year (versus up 4% in July) though total visits decelerated to up 12% year-over-year (versus up 27% year-over-year last month). Within our Online Media coverage, growth trends were generally favorable. Google traffic was solid with an acceleration in minutes (17% year-over-year) and page views (5% year-over-year) while Yahoo traffic was strong for the second month in a row with unique visitors up 20% and minutes up 7% year-over-year.
