BrandVerity examines the advertising landscape on the branded keywords of over 250 popular, consumer-facing brands. The report covers 10 different industries, including hospitality. Here are some points of interest for hotel marketers: - Some of the top Trademark Users in the hotel industry were hotelreservations.com, hotelroom.com, hotelsavings.com, priceline.com, and roomstays.com. Interestingly, neither Expedia nor Travelocity appeared in our list of Top 10 Trademark Users. - OTA activity increased on Bing, Yahoo and AOL—but remained relatively low on Google. - We're now estimating 31,653 lost visitors per month (a more specific figure than I provided earlier) for a typical hotel brand.
