The solution, available to agents at no cost, identifies and highlights the hotels that participate in Travel Leaders Group’s Worldwide Hotels Program and Select Hotels & Resorts. “There are many benefits to our agency owners when their agents use PinSight,” CEO Ninan Chacko said in a statement. “First, PinSight creates significant efficiencies for our agencies on two counts — agents are able to reduce the time they spend researching, and all of their activity can be reported in real time. Second, PinSight increases attachment rates, a critical factor that not only ensures our agents are holistic in their approach to selling all travel components, but also helps us demonstrate further value to our hotel partners.” The new solution replaces Stream, Travel Leaders Group’s proprietary booking solution, the company said. PinSight has twice the hotel inventory and more commission opportunities, according to Travel Leaders Group. It also has both prepaid and post-stay rates, whereas Stream only had prepaid rates.
