The expansion, on both the sales and customer service fronts, are tied to the company’s aggressive growth playing out as planned with a number of new client wins, including Trump Hotel Collection, Ayers Hotels and a large number of independent properties earlier this year. Leading the charge is Ellis Connolly, VP Sales Americas & Australia, who is an integral part of the new business development team and a trusted advisor and mentor to colleagues based in Dallas, where the company recently unveiled new office space. Connolly comes from a long-line of sales and marketing posts, including his most recent position at Cvent where he led the sales team focused on meetings and groups within the hospitality industry. He is a self-proclaimed “social media junkie” who is very active via @ellis_connolly where his nearly 15,000 followers look to him as a resource for industry insights. Another noteworthy addition to the TrustYou family is Keri Dell, client experience manager, who hails from Google, and is responsible for directing the customer training and support team for TrustYou’s North American clients such as Fairmont, Marriott, Starwood and Trump Hotel Collection. Boasting equally impressive experience is Carlo Rich, field marketing manager, and the latest addition to the team. He was previously with Intuit, based out of Silicon Valley, which is best known for products such as Quickbooks and Turbotax. The USA team has doubled in recent months and TrustYou will be continuing the expansion of the sales and customer support team throughout the year. Overseeing Dallas team on both the sales and marketing fronts is Alan Young, SVP of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, who joined TrustYou in February 2013. The long-time industry veteran, who brings tremendous travel, technology and sales experience to the post, has three decades of in-depth industry experience and a proven track record in driving bottom-line results. Most recently he was the VP, field marketing, for Infor, the second largest supplier of information technology solutions to the global hotel and gaming industry. April brought a travel-technology legend to the board as PhoCusWright Founder Philip Wolf was added to the TrustYou arsenal. Wolf, an accomplished entrepreneur credited with building the premier source for travel and hospitality intelligence, brings tremendous knowledge and highly sought-after expertise which TrustYou will leverage as it grows its global footprint. The new team has been instrumental in the development and launch of The Reputation Machine campaign, a holistic approach to increasing reviews, content distribution, strategic marketing and driving revenue.
