USA TODAY has launched Hotel Check-In, an online business traveler community, moderated by Barbara De Lollis.

Hotel Check-In will function as the road warrior's guide to the lodging landscape. This new community will use original reporting, surveillance and community engagement to deliver targeted hotel news, consumer advice and information on hotel industry trends specifically for frequent business travelers. Hotel Check-In will speak directly to road warriors, building an active community with forums focused on hotel loyalty programs, hot industry topics and other hotel issues targeting the interests of the frequent business traveler.

In her role as community moderator, Barbara De Lollis will pass along the latest hotel news, everything from comparisons and changes in loyalty points to the latest in club floor amenities. She'll talk "Live from the Lobby," blogging from the latest hotel openings and will catch up with hotel CEOs, passing on reader concerns and questions. De Lollis will also maintain a presence in the forum, where readers can swap stories, talk directly to other road warriors and connect with special guests.

Hotel Check-in is the latest addition to an expanding roster of USA TODAY online communities. Also recently created are Game Hunters, with a focus on video games and "interactive awesomeness;" The Oval, dedicated to tracking the Obama administration; and Faith & Reason, a conversation about religion, spirituality and ethics. Several new communities will roll out and re-launch through the spring.
