Wotif.com today revised its takeover offer for travel.com.au, giving the company's shareholders either $0.55 in cash for each share or between 0.0982 and 0.1146 Wotif.com shares per travel.com.au share, if a minimum acceptance of 75.1 per cent from TVL shareholders is reached.

"This scenario values travel.com.au at approximately $55 million," Wotif.com said.

"This revised offer by Wotif.com ... is unanimously considered by TVL's independent directors to be superior to the offer made by Webjet on 4 October 2007," both parties said in a joint statement.
